Conveniently located 30 minutes north of Nashville, Six1Fly bases its training and rental operations out of the Portland Municipal Airport. Airport Symbol 1m5PORTLAND MUNI (1M5)

The non-towered airspace around 1M5 makes for a much more relaxing flight training experience, allowing students to focus all of their attention on flying the airplane. At a field elevation of 817 feet, this airport features one asphalt runway that's 5,000 feet long and 100 feet wide with GPS/RNAV approaches on either side.
